Men innan dess tänkte jag hinna med en kopp kaffe på min favoritbokhandel i denna del av världen.
En god bok och en kopp kaffe är aldrig fel. Och trots allt är det ju söndag.

Kosovo Serb leader ”threatened with arrest”

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA — Milan Ivanović said on Saturday in Kosovska Mitrovica that EULEX officials are accusing him of criminal activities for which he is not accountable.
The leader of the Serb National Council of Northern Kosovo (SNV) added he would seek protection from Serbian authorities.
He told a news conference that EULEX suspects him of organizing, supporting and being involved ”in terrorist groups”, incitement to ethnic and religious hatred, strife and intolerance, endangering EULEX personnel, ”calling to resistance”, and of participation in offending crowds.
He added that EULEX prosecutor in Kosovska Mitrovica Neta Amin has demanded that he be brought in for questioning to the southern, ethnic Albanian part of the divided town.
The request was sent to the Zvečan police chief.
The request said that the prosecutor will ”consider issuing an arrest warrant if Ivanović refuses”.
The accusations are serious, but are not true and their obvious goal is to remove Serb political representatives from Kosovo, he told reporters today.
Ivanović stated that he does not recognize institutions of the quasi ”state of Kosovo”, and told the EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX, representatives that they must be status neutral.
Ivanović is convinced that a smear campaign is under way against Serb political representatives in northern Kosovo since the arrival of EULEX, ”which is implementing Martti Ahtisaari’s plan in violation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1244”, Tanjug reported.
”I will refute these lies in front of our institutions that work in northern Kosovo and Metohija and they can call me in,” the Kosovo Serb leader said, adding that he will seek protection from the state of Serbia since both he and his family have had their basic human rights to life and work jeopardized.
”I do not feel safe and secure and I will notify all relevant political parties in Serbia about this, and I also expect protection from the friendly states’ ambassadors to our country,” Ivanović concluded.
